Since our founding in 2023, Skild AI has been obsessed with a single goal: omni-bodied intelligence. Traditionally, robotics startups have focused on bespoke solutions that are engineered from scratch and work only on particular robots and tasks. The Skild Brain takes a different approach. It is the industry's first unified robotics foundation model that generalizes across tasks and robot hardware. Our omni-bodied model can control any robot without prior knowledge of its body form, including quadrupeds, humanoids, tabletop arms, and mobile manipulators. It enables robots to handle everything from simple household chores like cleaning, loading a dishwasher, making an egg, to physically demanding challenges such as navigating slippery terrain. If there is a machine that can move, the omni-bodied Skild Brain will operate it. In this talk, I will talk about the Skild Data Flywheel that helps us tackle the challenge of building an omni-bodied Skild Brain and how this has led to one of the best robotics foundation models.
