Dan Carpenter is the General Manager of Uber AI Solutions (UAIS), which is Uber's enterprise AI data and platform business, built on over a decade of internal expertise in collecting, labeling, testing, and localizing data across more than 10,000 cities and 61 billion trips. The business makes that same infrastructure available to AI labs and enterprises worldwide through a suite of tools spanning agentic AI testing and evals, data annotation, robotics training, and physical data collection, utilizing a global task network of over 9 million earners across 30 countries. Prior to his role at Uber, Dan held key commercial leadership positions at FluidStack and Omniva, where he orchestrated large-scale GPU infrastructure deployments and structured landmark enterprise agreements with the AI industry's most consequential names, including frontier model labs, hyperscalers, and infrastructure OEMs. He previously spent 12 years at AWS, most recently leading the Games industry vertical. In that role, he partnered with the world's top studios to architect and scale the cloud infrastructure powering massive global gaming experiences like Fortnite, Roblox, and League of Legends. Dan is based in Seattle, where he spends his time outside of work cooking, chasing every outdoor adventure the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and coaching youth rugby, a sport he's actively working to grow across the region. He holds an MBA from Seattle University and a BS in Finance from Washington State University.
