Benedek Tasi is the Founder and CEO of Allonic, a robotics company building the manufacturing foundation for advanced robotic hardware. After studying robotics and biomechanics at KU Leuven, and working on prosthetics at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago, he led research in biomimetic robotics and prosthetics at PPKE ITK in Budapest, focusing on the intersection of biological systems, robotics, and manufacturing. He and his two co-founders entered the scene recently with one of the most talked-about pre-seed rounds in the EU, with the unique technology of 3D Tissue Braiding to fully automate the production of complex robot bodies at a fraction of the cost and effort.
