Hassan grew up in Agadir, Morocco, and went on to study at Mines ParisTech, where he specialized in robotics and applied mathematics before completing a PhD in 3D computer vision. After leading upstream R&D at Terra3D, he co-founded Exwayz in 2021 with Mathias Corsia to address a critical gap in the autonomous systems market: real-time, GPS-free LiDAR navigation that is precise, CPU- native, and sensor-agnostic. Today, Exwayz deploys centimeter-level SLAM across logistics, industrial inspection, and autonomous mobility, no special hardware required. Hassan is driven by one conviction: reliable autonomy should work in the real world, not just the lab.
