A cybersecurity and AI systems expert with over 20 years of experience, Jason brings deep technical leadership to VicOne's mission of securing autonomous vehicles, robots, and Physical AI systems. Prior to joining VicOne, Jason served as Senior Distinguished Engineer at Trend Micro, where he held dual roles as Chief Architect of Core Technology and Chief Architect of Trend Micro Vision One XDR — one of the industry's most advanced XDR platforms. During his tenure at Trend Micro, Jason played a pivotal role in shaping the company's core security technology across successive generations. As Chief Architect, he led the design and delivery of the XDR Security Analytics Engine, a platform ingesting and correlating trillions of security logs per day, giving enterprises unprecedented visibility across their environments. He also led Trend Micro's AI Lab, spearheading the adoption of Trend Cybertron, the cybersecurity-specialized LLM to production. Jason holds three US patents covering machine learning systems, computer integrity verification, and kernel rootkit detection. He holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from National Cheng Kung University.
