Oleg Koverznev has a systems engineering background in computer systems and networks and more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, cloud platforms, and developer tools. His work combines technical architecture, product strategy, and business execution. Before joining JetBrains, Oleg co-founded Yandex Cloud and helped build it from an early internal project into a public cloud platform serving enterprise, mid-market, and developer customers. He later contributed to the launch and scaling of cloud and infrastructure startups across Europe and EMEA. Earlier, he worked at Microsoft in product, business, and partner-facing roles, and at Cisco on enterprise infrastructure, data center, and cloud solutions initiatives. In 2025, Oleg joined JetBrains to lead a newly formed strategic division focused on agentic systems for software production. His current work focuses on helping engineering organizations move from AI experimentation to reliable software delivery, integrating agents into real workflows while preserving control, quality, context, and cost transparency.
