Joon Sung Park is the CEO and Co-founder of Simile, an AI company building human-grounded simulations that allow organizations to deeply understand the motivations, emotions, and behaviors of any group or individual. Spun out of his pioneering Ph.D. research at Stanford University on generative agents, Joon’s work has been featured on the TED AI stage and in top-tier publications including The New York Times, Science, Nature, Forbes, and Wired. Joon holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford, where he was a Microsoft Research Ph.D. Fellow, alongside degrees from UIUC and Swarthmore College.
