For nearly three decades, David Bitton has built a career at the intersection of compute-intensive innovation and the infrastructure that powers it. He began his career in 1996 supporting visual effects productions and went on to co- found three media and entertainment companies, including 3vis, which grew into Canada’s largest Autodesk M&E partner before its acquisition by Scalar in 2014. At Scalar and later Hypertec, David helped scale industry-focused business units, leading strategic growth initiatives before transitioning into product strategy at Hypertec Cloud. That journey — from render farms to AI factories — proved to be a natural precursor to the infrastructure revolution now underway. In April 2025, Hypertec Cloud spun out from Hypertec and, through the acquisition of 5C Data Centers, launched 5C Group—a dedicated AI infrastructure company bringing together cloud, data center, and infrastructure expertise under a single brand. Today, as VP of AI & Product Strategy,  David helps shape the company’s vision, product strategy, and market positioning as it designs, builds, and operates next-generation AI campuses spanning power infrastructure, advanced liquid cooling, modular data center architecture, and high- density compute environments.
