Carmen Li is the Founder and CEO of Silicon Data and CEO of Compute Exchange, where she is building the data and exchange infrastructure for global AI compute markets. At Silicon Data, she leads the development of independent analytics and benchmark indices for GPU pricing, utilization, performance, and carbon impact. The company’s products—including SiliconNavigator, Silicon Index (Bloomberg-listed), SiliconCarbon, and SiliconMark—bring financial-grade transparency to AI infrastructure. SiliconMark provides standardized, third-party GPU performance benchmarking to support procurement, pricing, and risk assessment. In 2025, she also became CEO of Compute Exchange, which enables transparent price discovery and executable access to compute capacity. Previously, she worked at DRW and later served as Global Head of Strategic Alliances for Enterprise Data at Bloomberg. She holds a degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
