Married, father of two children, entrepreneur, and diagnosed with ALS in 2020, Olivier Goy now fights for research and for the inclusion of disability, wearing two hats. Ambassador of the Paris Brain Institute — the world’s second-largest neuroscience research center. Thanks to all the initiatives around the film Invincible Été, the book Invincible, and the concert Invincibles Ensemble, €4 million have already been raised for research in France and Canada. After its theatrical release in France in May 2023, followed by Canal+ and M6, the documentary directed by Stéphanie Pillonca is pursuing an international career and the film is now on Apple TV and Prime Video (Amazon) in France, Spain, and Japan. Sponsor of “Les Invincibles”, a joyful patients’ association created after the release of the film. He is also the co-founder of the photo4food foundation, which fights poverty through photography. He has been named Chevalier of the National Order of Merit and Chevalier of the Legion of Honor. In 2024, he co-authored the book Invincible with Anne Fulda, published by Éditions de l’Observatoire.
