Jacques-Henri is an entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in the Entertainment, Media and Digital industry. He started his career as a press attaché for the Armed Forces Information and Public Relations Service during the Gulf War. He later joined The Walt Disney Company as part of the opening team of Disneyland Paris where he rapidly became the youngest member of the Company’s executive committee as VP, Corporate Communications and Company’s spokesman. After getting his MBA at Harvard Business School, he co-founded Sports’ new media venture Sporever in 2000. His Company became a European leader in sports’ digital media and was taken public in a 2005 IPO. He later became the CEO of Turf Editions, one of the world’s top 3 specialized media property dedicated to horse racing. From 2016 to 2021, he was the CEO of the French soccer team Olympique de Marseille owned by McCourt. He is Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Olympique de Marseille. He was also a member of the board of directors of the French Football Ligue (LFP) for 5 years and a member of UEFA’s Club Competition Committee for 3 years. After his tenure as CEO of Olympique de Marseille, he became Vice-Chairman of the Board of OM and the President of McCourt EMEA, where he oversaw the Family Enterprise’s activities in Europe. He was also in charge of the launch of the McCourt Institute, a non-profit organization which funds and promotes research on the future of social media and a more equitable internet. He graduated from Harvard Business School and Sciences Po Paris where he has taught Entrepreneurship since 2007. Jacques-Henri is a board member with EuropaCorp, France’s most successful independent motion picture production studio. In early 2021, he was awarded the distinction of Knight of the Legion of Honor for his outstanding community services during the Covid-19 crisis, especially towards women who became victims of domestic violence, and his undertakings at Olympique de Marseille. Jacques-Henri is a former member of the French national Taekwondo team.
