Philip Rathle is CTO of Neo4j, the graph database and analytics leader powering the next generation of GenAI applications. A pioneer in data and knowledge systems, he authored The GraphRAG Manifesto, mapping out how knowledge graphs drive GenAI accuracy, explainability, and governance. Neo4j is rapidly becoming core to the enterprise AI stack, valued at over $2 billion and trusted by thousands of organizations including more than 84 of the Fortune 100. Philip’s work has had global impact, from the Panama Papers to NASA’s Mars mission. He led Neo4j’s role in ISO GQL, the first global database query standard in nearly 40 years. Previously, he held senior roles at Embarcadero Technologies and Accenture, and co-founded Customer Evolutions. He advises executives, boards, and technical teams. He is based in Silicon Valley.
