John Furrier is a visionary entrepreneur, media architect, and trusted advisor to the builders shaping our digital future. As co-founder of SiliconANGLE Media and creator of theCUBE—a digital media video platform for technology—he’s spent more than two decades helping translate complex tech landscapes into clear, engaging conversations. In that time, he’s cultivated a network of peers across technology, venture capital, and the creative arts, always learning as much as he shares. With a Computer Science degree (operating systems and databases) and an MBA, John began his career at IBM and Hewlett-Packard in 1985, developing hands-on expertise across infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies. In 1996 he embraced entrepreneurship—co-founding a search startup and launching one of Silicon Valley’s first podcasts and network—ventures that taught him resilience, collaboration, and the power of experimentation. For the past 15 years, John has co-led a self-funded media and software venture with business partner Dave Vellante, producing original media content and research at the intersection of media, technology, and AI. An “always-on entrepreneur,” he delights in convening thoughtful conversations with “tech athletes” and innovators—and in bringing his energy, network, and resources to philanthropic efforts that fuel positive change around the world.
