Michael Harris serves as the Vice Chairman and Global Head of Capital Markets for NYSE Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE). In his role, Mr. Harris oversees NYSE's global customer acquisition efforts, leading initiatives to attract premier companies to the world's largest and most liquid exchange. He directs a global team that cultivates strategic relationships across the private company ecosystem, engaging with founders, CEOs, venture capital and private equity firms, advisory organizations, and market makers. Previously, Harris held the position of Head of Capital Markets and Business Development at Citadel Securities, where he expanded the firm's strategic relationships and strengthened its presence among financial sponsors, venture capital firms, and corporate clients during his tenure. As Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the U.S. Treasury Department, he played a pivotal role in managing the successful wind-down of the government's TARP investments. His earlier career included senior positions within investment banking and capital markets at JPMorgan and UBS Investment Bank. He currently serves on the board of directors of TriState Capital Holdings, a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, focused on private bank and commercial finance solutions for institutional and high net worth clients. He is also a member of the Financial Markets Advisory Council to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Harris holds dual degrees from Northwestern University: a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy.
