Dr. Antoine Bordes is the VP AI at Helsing. He has a deep knowledge of AI R&D from his 9 years of experience building out the Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) laboratory of Meta, the last 3 years as FAIR’s co-managing director. Prior to joining Meta (then Facebook) in 2014, he was a research scientist at CNRS in France and a postdoctoral fellow in Yoshua Bengio's lab at the University of Montreal. He received his Ph.D. in AI from Sorbonne University in Paris in 2010, with two awards for best Ph.D. from the French Association for Artificial Intelligence and from the French Armament Agency (DGA). He has published more than 60 papers cumulating 50k citations.
