Dr. Nan Wang is the co-founder and CTO of Jina AI, a leading platform for AI-powered enterprise search. With extensive experience from roles at Zalando and Tencent, Nan excels in building AI systems for production environments, co-founding Jina AI in 2020. As a maintainer of popular open-source projects like Jina and Docrray, Nan has delivered over 40 public talks and actively contributes to the open-source community. He spearheaded the open-sourcing of jina-embeddings and jina-Colbert models, garnering over 1 million downloads. Nan earned his Ph.D. degree in computational neuroscience from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
