Marc-Henri Gires is the CTO and co-founder of Defacto, the instant, embedded B2B lending platform. Marc-Henri’s previous 10+ years of experience have spanned across data and engineering in San Francisco and Paris-based startups. As the 2nd employee at ClearMetal, acquired by Project44, he led the data team responsible for developing two Machine Learning patents and was part of 2 additional acquisitions as an early employee at AgileOne and ZipCar. Marc-Henri holds an Engineering Masters from Berkeley and Ecole Polytechnique. He would describe himself as an autodidact both in and outside of work.
