Renate is the Founder and CEO of Meeno, a relationship mentoring app that is backed by Sequoia, Andrew Ng's AI Fund, NEA and Tony Fadell. The LLM-powered iOS app provides guided, actionable advice for all the relationships in your life, from friends and family, to bosses, colleagues or romantic partners. Renate founded Meeno to tackle one of the biggest crises we face in our lifetime; loneliness. 60% of Meeno's existing users are young adult men who are more likely to suffer from social anxiety and widely known to be more resistant to seeking help. Renate is the former Chief Executive Officer of Tinder, the world’s most popular dating app with $1.7B in direct revenues under her tenure. Her career spans launching the International business at mental health app Headspace, as well as leading the multi-billion App Store subscription business in Europe for Apple. Renate is of Norwegian and Dutch origin and has worked in France, England, Sweden, Switzerland and California. Today she is based in San Francisco. She is a Philosophy graduate of Cambridge University.
