Chief Executive Officer, Caspar Herzberg, joined AVEVA in 2021. He was previously Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer, becoming CEO in March 2023. Caspar is also a member of the Schneider Electric Executive Committee. With over 25 years’ experience, Caspar brings deep understanding of how technology transforms industries, enables innovation and drives sustainability. Author of ‘Smart Cities, Digital Nations,’ he is a thought-leader in smart cities and digital transformation. As President, Middle East & Africa at Schneider Electric, he managed operations in over 80 countries. Earlier, based out of Accenture’s London office, Caspar, worked in extensive digital transformations for the global energy sector. Caspar holds an MSc in International Politics from SOAS University of London and an BA in Arabic & Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford. He speaks English, German, Arabic and French.
